I "met" Dian a few months ago through her Word VBA group. Since then, I have learned so much. Dian is so involved with her groups and cares so much that you feel comfortable to ask any Q (even silly ones). Together with Greg Chapman and Dawn Crosier they provide the best learning opportunities for me and I guess many others.

Search Microsoft for Solutions
Did you know that Microsoft has many knowledgebase articles that will help you solve your computer problems?
Those computer error messages are important! Write them down and check in the Microsoft Knowledgebase for help. And if you're looking for help learning, you can also search out How To articles and White Papers.
A terrific place to search for answers to your problems are through the newsgroup archives at Google, the top Internet search engine.
Since someone has probably had the same problem as you've had, search with key words to your problem to find out solutions previously presented. Many of the results will be from the Microsoft Newsgroups with answers previously given by Microsoft MVPs.
